Welcome to the first official NoKTuRNL email newsletter - 27/05/01

NoKTuRNL announce:

- Haterz Tour Dates (May 31st - Jun 22nd)
- The release of their new single Haterz - out today (May 28th)

This newsletter coincides with the release of NoKTuRNL's third CD, Haterz, in stores today Monday the 28th of May. Haterz, one of NoKTuRNL's favourite songs with live audiences, was recorded in April just after the Offshore Festival. The CD released on Sputnik through Festival Mushroom Records, also features the B sides Flametal, recorded live by JJJ, and Primitive, recorded in hotel rooms whilst on tour. The CD should be available in your favourite CD store, or you can buy it through the NoKTuRNL web site www.nokturnl.com

To celebrate the release of Haterz, NoKTuRNL start a tour in Canberra this Thursday the 31st of May. It also takes in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin and Alice Springs. Dates and venues for the Haterz tour to follow at the end of this email.

NoKTuRNL have just completed an 18 date tour with Superheist. The last show was on Sunday the 27th May. For reports on the tour by the band, check out SoRBZ's gig report on the NoKTuRNL web site.

SoRBZ's gig report is one of the recent additions and updates to the NoKTuRNL site. The site was not maintained for a number of months. One of the issues for people in remote places is the lack of services. NoKTuRNL could not find anybody to maintain the site, so Red Shift Artists, their management company, have started doing it in house. There are a number of plans to make the site more interactive between the band and our fans. We are keen to post as much stuff from fans as possible - so if you want us to post something on the site - photos, comments, cartoons, whatever - email it to us and we will see what we can do. Any comments about the site will also be welcome, however, remember we are still in the process of catching up after months of inaction.
